What is interpersonal skill and/or communication skill? Can you explain them, please?

By admin

I see that most jobs require interpersonal or communication skill. Are they the same? What is exactly the definition of that?

Interpersonal skills refer to a person's ability to operate within business organizations through social communication and interactions, or in other words, business social skills. Examples: working harmoniously with others, responding appropriately to conflict, working in teams efficiently.

Communication skills refer to how you communicate (talk/write) with others both verbal and written. Examples: do you speak well using clear and concise language, or do you resort to ummms and ahhs and have difficulty getting your point across in words?

These are all good skills to cultivate as all employers value and require these types of skills.
