Interesting. However, like many of these guidelines sort of things, as with ‘common’ sense, as well, much of it often appears contradictory. For instance, openness is good, but yet “some things are better left unsaid.” Or, positivity is good, but realism also frequently has its place even if it’s not always seemingly so ‘positive’. Perhaps it’s just that social science isn’t like mathematics…
