Epic Fail !!!!
Epic Fail !!!!
i got to back …
i got to back wurlytone on this. i’ve been in the situation and tried to improve it by being a good team player and it continued, i reported it when it was really bad and it got worse, upper management was participating in it (ya know the people that are supposed to prevent it and protect you from it). my professional reputation is now shot to and there is no recourse because these types of things fall between the cracks in the law books – IT IS LEGAL and people get away with it.
Then tell us oh …
Then tell us oh wise man what to do. You obviously haven’t been in the position of being truly bullied in the workplace. Tell me, when the owner/boss supports bullying, then what? I would love to hear your answer on this.
They use people …
They use people juiced on steroids too!
Do not resign or …
Do not resign or seek a transfer, partly because you will be giving the bully a victory, which increases his or her feelings of power, which encourages him or her to further acts of bullying. Also why should you allow people such as these to drive you out of a job or position you enjoy?
Also you may find that if you resign or seek a transfer, your reputation as an easy target for workplace bullies will precede you and you will be immediately set upon by bullies in your new job or position.
